I worked on these during American Idol last night. They still need toes and heels, but hey, it's a start.

I've found the little ones go quickly, I've got all of them prepped minus heels and toes.

Roll Call! How is everyone doing? I just finished my last large sock, so I'm a happy camper. Last nite I sat and prepped 16 small socks (no heels or toes, I'll do those later).Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day!

It's Official

I hereby name Saturday, April 26th, Sock Till You Drop Day! To celebrate, I'm meeting up with Deb and we will be working on our socks, anybody joining us?

I'm finally in!!

It still doesn't seem real but I'm FINALLY done with my finals and out of school for the summer. WAHOO!!!! I'll be getting the house put back together for the next couple of days and putting the finishing touches on a couple of dangling project. But this weekend is SOCK WEEKEND and I plan to get everything together and start prepping.

I've MISSED you guys!

Getting in Gear!

Thanks, Mar, for setting this up! Sometimes it takes me a while to get going. Case in point:

I finally had all my backgrounds cut, so when my husband was out of town for a few days, I spent a full two of them doing socks! Now I have ALL pieces of all the socks cut out now. I've started starching under the edges.

You're right about not wanting to leave this until the end. I couldn't face another sock for a while after two days of that! :-p

I have finally started my....

sock blocks.....got a few things/committments out of the way and have a sock all pinned and have started stitching it down. Hoping to get a few done while on vacation. Hopefully more than a few!
