I'm working on mine

Got the last of the small heels and toes sewn onto the bodies last night and will start stitching down the bodies to the backgrounds tonight. Then onto to sewing the big ones and I'm done. I'm getting there.

Long Socks

Working on the last 10 long socks. They're all put together just need to start stitching them down while we watch Mad Men tonight.

Susies Socks

I went down to the quiltshop yesterday and Susie showed me her socks, I took a pic to share with you! Can't wait to see everyones, the more I see, the more excited I get!!!

Picture, maybe

I'm going to try to attach a picture to this post. I can't find the limits anywhere, so I'm crossing my fingers. It's 110KB; 600 x 447 pixels.

The picture is my living room floor as I sorted sets so that no fabric was repeated in any one set.

Good progress

I had a mini-marathon today, and have assembled all my socks, and all edges are turned under. I just need to do a little trimming (too much overlap), and they're ready to attach to the backing! :D

What do you think?

I have a swapper who needs more time. How do you feel about extending the due date? It doesn't matter to me, I will not have time to put these together into a top for a while, but what are your plans? Would extending the date mess you up? How do you feel about an August 25th date? Please advise, I would like everyones input.

Woohoo!

I finished 5 more socks yesterday for a grand total of 23 small ones completely finished!! 37 more to go and I'll be done. I was sweating it for awhile there...but now I'm on a roll and can see I will be done in plenty of time!!

I see Mar's "Sock Counter" is at 60! (Applause, applause).

I'm doing everything step by step, so once I start getting the socks stitched down, they'll go like crazy! So far I have: everything cut out, the small socks all edge-starched and basted together, and some of the large socks prepped. Guess what I'm doing this month?
